The Bursian family’s vacation home is located in a quiet and beautiful setting in the hamlet of “Fosthövel,” near the town of Herbern. Right outside the front door, you can set out on day trips along well-marked trails—for example, by bike on the 100 Castles Route. Here, in addition to nature, you can also explore notable sights, such as Nordkirchen Castle (11 km), also known as the “Versailles of Westphalia.” For hiking enthusiasts, the famous Way of St. James—among other beautiful trails—passes right by the front door, inviting you to reflect and recharge. In the town of Herbern, about 3 km away, you’ll find all the shops you need for daily necessities, restaurants, and the local moated castle “Westerwinkel.” The castle park, surrounded by large wooded areas, is part of the Castle Route and is perfect for relaxing walks or bike rides. A well-maintained 18-hole golf course, set against a magnificent backdrop, offers golf enthusiasts every opportunity to enjoy the sport. For day trips by car, the cities of Münster (30 km) and Dortmund (40 km) beckon with their numerous options and attractions for a leisurely and relaxing stroll. In the nearest neighboring town of Drensteinfurt (5 km), the destinations mentioned above can also be reached via a train station. Dogs allowed upon request.
Our vacation home has two stories and, with approximately 110 square meters of living space, offers ample room and sleeping accommodations for up to 5 people.

First floor amenities: fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with toilet, shower, and bathtub, spacious living room with radio and TV.

Upstairs amenities: 2 bedrooms with double beds, 1 bedroom with a single bed, living room with TV, bathroom with toilet and shower, crib available; bedrooms are equipped with roller blinds for blackout. The entire upper floor is air-conditioned.
There is also a laundry area here with a washing machine, ironing board, iron, and drying rack.
