Located below Hohenaschau Castle and across from the valley station of the Kampenwand aerial cableway, it’s nestled in the stunning mountain landscape between Kampenwand and Zellerhorn. Enjoy this wonderful area—restaurants with beer gardens are within walking distance. Our loft apartment is located on the first floor of an apartment building; it features its own separate entrance with an adjoining terrace. It’s an ideal starting point for many walks and mountain hikes. The Kampenwand Cable Car’s valley station is just 100 meters away. In just a few minutes’ walk, you can reach the bus stop for the RVO bus, which takes you into town to the train station, to shopping areas, toward the mountaineering village of Sachrang, to Bernau am Chiemsee, and to Rosenheim. A “Sicado” parking space, right next to the apartment, is reserved for you free of charge. You can park your bicycle in the underground garage. Check-in is via a code lock on the door. Dogs and other pets are not allowed.<br> The apartment was lovingly renovated into a vacation rental in 2022. Stay in a tastefully furnished, open, and bright loft apartment—75 square meters on the first floor. With great attention to detail, the nearly 3-meter-high, loft-style space has been furnished in a modern style and offers generous living space. Open-concept sleeping area with a double bed (180x200 cm) and a stylish single bed (90x200 cm), which can be folded out to accommodate a third person if needed. Living area with a large sofa suite, a stylish single bed (90x200 cm) that can be folded out to accommodate a fourth person if needed, a large flat-screen TV/radio with video playback, a floor lamp, a desk, and free Wi-Fi. Large dining area with a dining table and chairs, open-concept kitchen with a refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, stove with a ceramic cooktop and oven, cleaning supplies, and dish towels. The bathroom is modernly tiled and features a bathtub, walk-in shower, sink, toilet, shelf, heated towel rack, lighted makeup mirror, and hair dryer. Towels, bed linens, and toiletries are provided free of charge. Private entrance with a terrace and views of the mountains and surrounding greenery. Unfortunately, pets and dogs are not allowed. A “Sicado” parking space is located right next to the apartment and is reserved for you free of charge.<br> The popular health resort and vacation destination of Aschau im Chiemgau offers all the amenities you need for daily life. Here you can unwind and relax amidst the beautiful mountain scenery—whether hiking, skiing, biking, rock climbing, paragliding, cross-country skiing, or sledding—everything is right at your doorstep. Just 10 km from Lake Chiemsee for water sports and excursions, as well as opportunities to play tennis and golf in the region. In addition to beautiful Lake Chiemsee, there are indoor and outdoor swimming pools, such as the outdoor swimming area and the moor swimming area in Aschau, the “Prienavera” water park in Prien, and the thermal baths in Bad Endorf or Bad Aibling. The ideal location, with access to the A8 highway between Rosenheim and Berchtesgaden and the train connection toward Munich and Salzburg—the Aschau-Prien branch line—ensures short travel distances.
