At an elevation of 840 m in the idyllic high valley of Hintergschwendt—between Aschau im Chiemgau and Bernau am Chiemsee—you can enjoy peace and quiet, nature, and a breathtaking mountain backdrop, surrounded by meadows and forests between the Kampenwand and Lake Chiemsee. The apartment is the ideal starting point for hikes, bike rides, and excursions in the region. You’ll find shops and restaurants of all kinds in nearby Aschau or in Bernau. A well-maintained communal garden with wooden lounge chairs, an outdoor seating area, a barbecue area, and an open fire pit invites you to relax and socialize. In the basement, guests have access to a sauna, two pieces of fitness equipment (a treadmill and an exercise bike), a coin-operated washing machine, and a coin-operated dryer. In addition, there is a storage room, a drying room with ski storage, and a cozy lounge with a ping-pong table, foosball table, game corner, and seating. The lovingly furnished living and sleeping area features a comfortable double bed as well as a large, cozy sitting and dining area with a Swiss stone pine corner bench that invites you to linger. From the spacious east-facing terrace, you can enjoy the first rays of the sun and let your gaze wander over the surrounding landscape. For entertainment and relaxation, you’ll have access to free Wi-Fi, a telephone, and a flat-screen satellite TV. The small but well-equipped kitchenette, featuring a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a 2-burner ceramic cooktop, and all necessary kitchen utensils, makes it easy for you to prepare delicious meals.
