The cozy App4 vacation apartment features a combined living and sleeping area as well as a sunny southwest-facing terrace. It is located in the well-maintained Gschwendtnerhof vacation complex, which comprises a total of 26 individually designed apartments. At an elevation of 840 m in the idyllic high valley of Hintergschwendt—between Aschau im Chiemgau and Bernau am Chiemsee—you can enjoy peace and quiet, nature, and a stunning mountain backdrop, surrounded by meadows and forests between the Kampenwand and Lake Chiemsee. The apartment is the ideal starting point for hikes, bike rides, and excursions in the region. You’ll find shops and restaurants of all kinds in nearby Aschau or in Bernau. A well-maintained communal garden with wooden lounge chairs, an outdoor seating area, a barbecue area, and an open fire pit invites you to relax and enjoy time with friends and family. In the basement, our guests have access to a sauna, two pieces of fitness equipment (a treadmill and an exercise bike), a coin-operated washing machine, and a coin-operated dryer. In addition, there is a storage room, a drying room with ski storage, and a cozy lounge with a ping-pong table, foosball table, game corner, and seating. Wi-Fi and ample parking are available free of charge. Pets are welcome—in Apartment App4, one dog may be brought along for an additional fee. We offer our guests a bread roll delivery service (limited during the winter months). Simply place your order and pay yourself—for a delicious start to the day. Cozy vacation apartment with a sunny southwest-facing terrace. This charming, non-smoking vacation apartment offers everything you need for a relaxing stay in Chiemgau within its 38 m². The apartment is in a quiet location and features its own south-west-facing terrace with patio furniture—perfect for enjoying the sun well into the evening. The combined living and sleeping area is furnished with a double bed and a pull-out sofa bed (1.40 m wide) for a third person. A dining area, flat-screen satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, and a telephone provide comfort and entertainment. The floor is covered with easy-to-maintain laminate PVC tiles. The practical kitchenette features a microwave, a 2-burner stovetop, a filter coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment—ideal for preparing simple meals. The bathroom features a shower/tub combination, a toilet, and a hair dryer. Bed linens and towels are, of course, provided. You’re welcome to bring a dog—please note that only one dog is allowed.
The nearby Chiemsee—affectionately known as the “Bavarian Sea”—is just about a ten-minute drive away and offers a wide range of activities, such as steamboat cruises, such as a visit to Herrenchiemsee Palace and the idyllic Fraueninsel, as well as water sports and relaxing days at the beach. For those interested in culture, there is a wealth of destinations to explore: The cities of Salzburg, Munich, and Kufstein, as well as the picturesque Königssee, are all conveniently accessible in just over an hour and are perfect for varied day trips.
