Great location for station with direct access from station ground level - no need to go outside . Plenty of eating & shopping options at Aeon mall, also accessed directly from the hotel. As with a number of Japanese hotels, reception is on a higher floor of the building - in this case the 5th floor

One of the best locations to stay in Asahikawa. Close to everything and next to the JR station. Hotel is very popular as I had to booked well in advance to secure a twin room. The room we had was on the smaller side even by Japanese standard imo (stayed 40+ nights in similar category hotels in different parts of Japan in the past 18 months), and they are starting to show their age. Breakfast was decent but very cafeteria like, so don't expect anything gourmet. Overall, it was a good base to setup camp for exploring Furano and Biei.
