Staff is excellent. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Great beach. You can reserve palapas for as little as $30/day. It’s a large resort (and we were there for Christmas week) and it never felt crowded. Never hasd to wait more than minute or 2 for a breakfast table.

During our recent stay at the Hilton, we were pleased as usual; however, we did find it necessary to remind the resort that, despite having stayed here more than seven times, we have never received any acknowledgment of our loyal patronage. There were also a few minor issues, such as the lack of refills for the facial tissues and hand soap bar, though these were promptly resolved with a quick call to the front desk. I conducted a black‑light inspection of the bedding and chair, and I am pleased to note that everything appeared clean with no concerning stains. The hot water was plentiful with comfortable air conditioning. We continue to return to the Hilton because of its beachfront location, its proximity to restaurants, and the convenience of being within walking distance of several popular attractions

Upon arrival around 2:30pm I waited my turn to check in as 5 guest ahead of me were allowed to check in and get room keys. When it was my turn I was told I needed to wait until 4pm as my room wasn’t ready. Told there were so many people in housekeeping and they hadn’t had a chance to prepare my room based on the room type. Secondly was hit with the resort fee in addition to a $400 hold for incidentals $710 total in unexpected charges.

The room was spotless. All the staff was great. I had to use my water pic at the coffee station off the living room because the plug didn’t work in the bathroom. I reported it three times to no avail. This was messy and very inconvenient. The toilet flapper valve leaks also but I didn’t see any sense in reporting that. At any rate, I still love the place. All the staff there is like family to Patty and I for the past 10 years. For over seven hundred dollars a night I expect more considering one pool is shut down. Am I sounding like a complainer?
