Renovated barn of a XV century castle

Create wonderful memories in this outbuilding within our 15th century family castle. The Bicon estate includes the main castle and an old two-story barn that we have just renovated into 2 indepedant apartments There is a magnificent English-park and a sheep meadow of 2 hectares entirely enclosed by high walls and which includes a spring and a secure pond. You can access a 20 acres private lake located just 5km away for the enjoyment of fishermen and nature lovers. The accommodation is an independent 3 bedroom apartment that has just been renovated and includes a large living room and kitchen. You will be charmed by the old exposed framework and the bathroom located in a medieval tower which dates from before the construction of the outbuilding. Please note that you may be required to share the pool with another group renting the main castle building which is also on Airbnb (visible on our host profile) The access to the castle is through the main entrance which goes up through a beautiful alley lined with chestnut trees to the round courtyard in front of the castle. Parking is available on the side of the courtyard, 50 meters from the main house. The park of the castle is entirely enclosed by high walls and the electric gate is closed at night. The janitor of the castle, Christophe, lives on site in an outbuilding separate from the castle and guesthouse and he will see to your reception and that you do not miss anything, by being discreet. The check-in time is at 3pm and the check-out time is at 11am. We take care of the cleaning of the cottage for 100 Euros per stay. We only expect our guests to do their dishwashing, clean their wastes in the various bins provided and remove the used bedsheets and towels and leave them at the bedrooms' doors when they leave.
