You pull into the trees, unload the car, and before long everyone has found their spot. The kids disappear into the secret loft, someone starts a game of pool, the woodstove is warming the room, and the deck is waiting for that first cup of coffee or evening glass of wine.

Welcome to Lay-z-bone Lodge, a relaxed mountain retreat made for families and friends who want a little adventure, a little nostalgia, and plenty of room to enjoy being together.

Spend your days exploring the mountains, then come home to game nights, movie nights, cozy evenings by the fire, and quiet mornings surrounded by the trees.

For the Overachievers
Fill your days with mountain adventures like skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, hiking, fishing, swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, and biking. In the summer, head to the Big Trees Village Recreation Center for swimming, tennis, bocce, and more. You can also make the short trip to nearby Murphys for restaurants, shops, and wine tasting.

For the Underachievers
Sleep in. Sip coffee on the deck. Read by the woodstove. Soak in the jetted tub. Challenge someone to a game of pool. Settle in for a movie marathon. Stargaze through the trees. Pour another glass of wine and enjoy the rare luxury of having absolutely nowhere you need to be.

Access Information: You will receive check-in instructions, including your access code for entry, 2-4 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Please be sure to check your junk/spam email, as sometimes these instructions end up there.

Pet Policy: This cabin is not pet friendly - If a pet is brought to a non-pet friendly cabin, there will be a $1,000 fee charged to card on file.

Audio/visual cameras are on site (exterior only).

Tenant must be at least 25 years old to rent.

Communication: Property management will contact tenant by their preferred method of communication (personal email, text, etc.) to send a required rental agreement, check-in instructions, etc.

Payment (where applicable): A 2% surcharge (of the total transaction amount) will be added to your transaction charges when your credit card is charged. Upon booking, $300, plus the c/c fee, is due immediately and is charged to the credit card on file. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival (if you are booking a stay that is sooner than 30 days from the booking date, the full amount is due immediately & will be charged to your card on file). We will accept payment by check for the final payment, as long as your arrival date is further out than 45 days. If you wish to pay by check, please email our office immediately to advise us NOT to charge your card on file for the final payment. Please note that if your check is not received by the 30 day mark, your credit card on file will be charged, regardless of previous arrangement. All payments are due in full 30 days prior to your arrival.
