White Oak: A Modern Lakeside Cottage on Lewis Smith Lake in Alabama. The cottage is nestled on a quiet slough, perfect for swimming and lounging with family and friends all summer. Design is essential, but cozy vibes and family time matter most. All new furniture and bedding throughout, no detail was forgotten across the entire property. Attention to detail matters most at all of our properties, and our guests should feel right at home with everything they need to enjoy a perfect vacation with friends and family. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for you to prepare a large holiday meal. The three bedrooms have the softest and coziest bedding we could find, and those large king beds could keep you lost in their extra fluffy duvets all day. With smart TVs in every room and an oversized full-over-full bunk bed accompanied by a twin trundle, White Oak is perfect for families with kids' or adults-only trips. Yes, we provide firewood, so remember to snuggle up by the fire or enjoy days drifting on the lake and nights lost in laughs over cards and board games. Other Things to Note: **Seasonal Lake Levels (October–February): Smith Lake undergoes a seasonal drawdown during the fall and winter months, causing the water to recede approximately 20 feet from our dock. During this time, the water near the property is very shallow, and direct lake access from the dock is unavailable. Guests can still enjoy the peaceful lake views, beautiful scenery, and nearby outdoor activities.

Boat Rental: *Only available between March 1st and Labor Day!* We have a private tri-toon rental available for our Guests. It is conveniently docked at White Oak just steps away from the back door! If you rent our home, it is guaranteed to be available. Please inquire for pricing!

Bedroom #1 (upstairs)- One king bedroom
Bedroom #2 (downstairs)- One king bedroom with attached bathroom
Bedroom #3 (upstairs)- One bunk room with a pull out twin trundle.

Bathrooms:
Main Floor- full bathroom (shower/tub combo)
Upper Level- master bedroom private bathroom (shower only); shared bunk room full bathroom (shower/tub combo)

Dock: During the winter season, the water levels drop, so there is limited water at the dock. While lake access is still beautiful for views and relaxation, the lower water level can affect dock use during the winter season. If you have any questions or are curious about the current water levels, please reach out!

Lake Access: Most of the walk to the water is a steep paved incline. There are also some stairs required if you want to access the back deck.

Lake Toys: Peddle boat and stand up paddle boards are pulled seasonally (weather depending). Kayak is available year-round.

Road to Our Home: It is primarily a gravel road and can be a bit rough after big rains. We do provide detailed driving directions and have a map available to share so you have a smooth arrival.
