I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but this experience deserved one.Check-in was frustrating. I asked for the address of the check-in building and was only told it was “kitty-corner to the pool.” With so many condo buildings on the property, that wasn’t helpful, and we spent extra time driving around trying to find it.Communication before arrival was poor. At 10:00 a.m. on the day of check-in, I was told I had until noon to submit additional registration information or our stay would be canceled. I had already submitted my driver’s license, selfie, and credit card authorization, but was then asked for the make, model and color of every vehicle, plus the names and ages of every guest. None of this had been communicated beforehand. I had to make multiple calls to a third-party management company in Missouri for a property in Wisconsin, which made things even more frustrating.The condo also wasn’t clean. We found dirty towels in the bunk room under the stairs, and there was dirt, cobwebs, and junk behind the TV stands.To make matters worse, check-out was 10:00 a.m., but our key cards stopped working around 9:30 a.m. Thankfully someone was still inside while we loaded our cars, or we would have been locked out before check-out.Overall, what should have been a relaxing weekend turned into an unnecessarily stressful one. Unfortunately, I truly would not return to this condo or recommend it to others until these issues are addressed.
