Cepos is located in a fantastic dark sky zone. Several nearby locations allow for unobstructed views. There is even a public observation geodome in the nearby village of Fajão, visible from the living room!

Bird watchers will delight in the majestic Açores (goshawks) among many other species. With several beautiful walking trails in different ecosystems there's plenty of wildlife to be found nearby. There's even an observation shelter nestled in the landscape at Picota with information about local species to be spotted.

The ever increasing local mountain bike community has started development of several near by mountain bike trails, so you can try some of the new trails, especially at near by Mount Redondo.

The house is located 25min from Arganil, 30min from Coja, 30min from Benfaita and 1.5h from Coimbra.
