The breakfast menu was amazing and the bar offered a great selection of drinks. Our room was lovely. Very comfortable. There is a walled garden and historic out buildings. The property is very historic and it has a lot of charm. It has a great atmosphere. It was nice to talk to John at the bar and other guests. So friendly.

Woodhill House is a charming old manor house in a lovely little town. The room was spacious and clean and the area was very quiet. Breakfast was delicious, though they only start serving at 8:30am so plan accordingly. John was a very welcoming host and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Woodhill House if you are in the Ardara area.

This was in a quiet location about 1 mile out of Ardara. A secluded and peaceful place. The main house was old and interesting. Our room was comfortable and clean but had quite a smell which wasn’t unpleasant so much as unusual. However, we both enjoyed a good night’s sleep in a comfortable bed. The breakfast was good and the staff very pleasant. Although it was okay, I felt that it was overpriced by some margin. We paid £127 for two people b&b for one night which was probably about £40- £50 too much.

The highlight of our entire trip to Ireland. We needed a place to stop for the night during our travel from Northern into Southern Ireland. We wished we would have stayed longer here. This bnb is an absolute delight! John, the host and Karen were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. We stayed in the carriage house with beautiful garden view, great to stroll through. The views surrounding the property were beautiful. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. The breakfast Karen made was delicious…our first try at black and white pudding which were yummy. Thanks to John and Karen, they provided us with recommendations for other sites to see along our trip. We will always remember this stay!

We loved this little place. Beautiful setting just a short walk/drive to Ardara and a great starting point for exploring Donegal. Breakfast was great and the rooms were huge. We wouldnt hesitate to stay again!
