10 Ala Birdi Cottage 150m From The Beach, Arborea, Italy

This charming little villa, shaded by pine trees and just 150m from the beach, is an ideal base for a family or friends. As part of the Horse Country Resort, the property offers the perfect holiday for all comers, whether you want to relax in nature or a spa, learn to horse ride or take part in any of the other entertainment activities available to all guests.

This cottage sleeps 4 people in comfort and is perfect for a family holiday. The open-plan living area has a sofa, flatscreen TV and a dining table for 4 people. The kitchenette is equipped with a hob and fridge. There is a shaded terrace outside with a table and chairs for drinks or morning coffee, in the peace of the well-tended gardens.

Sleeping
Bedroom: The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, dressing table and a wardrobe.
Extra: The sofa converts into a single bed with a second pull-out single bed.

Bathroom
This attractively tiled bathroom has a glass shower, bidet, basin and WC.

1) Tessera Club: Includes the use of the shared swimming pools and the beach equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas; daytime and evening entertainment with group tennis and archery lessons, group dances, Mini Club Pony (from 5 to 11 years), Junior Club (from 12 to 17 years), musical entertainment with piano bar, shows and evenings in the open-air amphitheatre. Compulsory from 10 June to 8 September 2023 (from 5 years old) for the entire duration of the stay € 42.00 per week per person.
2) Electricity consumption: Charged according to consumption.

Services inside the resort (For a fee):

1) Bars and Restaurants: Inside the Resort there is a wide choice of restaurants and bars where you can savour delicious food and wine varying from traditional Sardinian to national Italian and international cuisine.
2) Equestrian Center: The Equestrian Center of the Horse Country Resort, one of the largest in Europe, offers horse riding activities open to all. Guests can visit the stables, experience the thrill of the baptism of the saddle and immediately set off on adventurous walks under the luxuriant pine forest and above the characteristic Sardinian beaches and even go swimming on horseback.
3) Spa Facilities: The \"Poseidonya Spa\" Wellness Center, which specialises in seaweed therapy, takes inspiration for its treatments from Posidonia, a seagrass that grows naturally in the neighbouring Gulf of Oristano.
4) Relaxation and Entertainment: 2 swimming pools (sports and relaxation) with a children\'s area. Tennis and bocce courts, beach volleyball for individual and family activities, five-a-side football, table tennis, archery, free paths in the park for jogging, yoga and pilates.


Important Information
1) Money Card: The resort uses a quicker and more convenient payment system (Money Card) which has no additional cost but consists of a prepaid card that is used for payments within the resort. If there is any unused money left on the card upon departure, it will be refunded at check-out. A security deposit is required for the Money Card.
2) Security Deposit: €100.00 required upon check-in
3) Entertainment: The apartments are located within a Resort with day and night activities and entertainment.
4) Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi only in common areas/pool/reception/info point area.

Location
The resort is on the western coast of Sardinia which is less developed. Visitors can hike through pristine nature and along the quiet beaches. The regional capital of Oristano (20 minutes) with its old churches, elegant squares and winding streets is worth a day trip. The ruins of the ancient town of Tharros (40 minutes) also make an interesting day out.

For shopping Oristano has lots of smaller independent shops, which make a welcome change to the usual chain stores. The city has a fantastic market, the Mercato Civico, where you will be able to pick up the best and freshest local produce.

Alghero Airport is a 2-hour drive from the resort. Airport transfers can be arranged.
