Marvelous Glamping Getaway for Two: Secluded and Tranquil Tiny House in Ararat, Victoria

Established in 1970, the property is a captivating piece of paradise surrounded by a panorama of plains, mountains, and vines that takes you back to the old-country charm of Ararat's Gold Rush Days.



The tiny house is the ideal accommodation in Ararat set 350 meters above sea level, near Montara Wines. It is complete with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including a cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers) for you to use. Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings, including our cellar door, which is accessible during open hours, except for the wine factory on the vineyard grounds, which is restricted to approved personnel only.

Please take note that this tiny house is an off-grid unit that runs on solar energy. We advise guests to conserve energy during the day and only use it when necessary. Overall, minimal consumption is advised to prevent power outages when using solar power.

The property is located in Ararat VIC, just 55 km from Grampians Region and 43 mins from Grampians National Park—making it the ideal location for a quiet getaway from the city. You can explore the historic "Gold Rush Town" just 3 kilometers from Montara Wines, Mount Langhi Ghiran just 20 minutes away, and Hopkins River just a short walk away.



Montara Wines is a family-owned winery in the Grampians known for its high fruit concentration. Aldi, Woolworths, and IGA are some of the supermarkets available in Ararat, just 3 km from Montara Winery. One Tree Hill Lookout is a popular attraction with numerous wilderness trails for walking, cycling, and running. The Blue Duck Hotel, Barkly Bistro Bar, and Vines Cafe & Bar are some of the best eateries, serving light to full meals, cocktails, and more.

Due to the property's rural location, you may encounter inconveniences such as insects during your stay. To maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more.
