Gîte d'Amédée - ARANDAS - Gîte

Perched on the heights of the hamlet of Indrieux, in Arandas, the Amédée gîte accommodates up to 6 people in a peaceful and authentic setting in the heart of the Bugey region. Adjoining the Mouton gîte, it is ideal for a stay with family or friends. Upon arrival, an external staircase leads to a large private terrace offering unobstructed views of the village and the rolling landscapes of the Bugey. A privileged spot to savor the peace and fresh air. The entrance is via the terrace and opens onto a pleasant, bright living area, comprising a fully equipped kitchen open to the living and dining areas. The space offers a warm atmosphere, combining modern comfort with authentic charm. The kitchen backsplash, decorated with images of the family farm's cows, adds a unique touch and recalls the agricultural roots of the property. A shower room with WC completes this level. Upstairs, beneath the exposed beams, two comfortable bedrooms await guests: one with two single beds (90 x 200 cm) and the other with four single beds (90 x 200 cm), two of which can be joined together upon request. A toilet with a washbasin is also located on this floor. Fans are provided in the bedrooms. At an altitude of 700 meters, nights are generally cooler, with temperatures often about 5°C lower than those in the valley below. From the gîte, explore the treasures of the Bugey region: hiking on the Plateau d'Hauteville, cycling, swimming in Lake Virieu-le-Grand, visiting the Cerveyrieu waterfall, climbing the Hostiaz via ferrata, or discovering the typical villages, farmers' markets, and wineries of the Bugey. At your disposal: a large private terrace, a shared pétanque court, and a games room shared by both cottages with a pool table, foosball, a library, and board games. Wellness area with shower, toilet, and sauna (optional: €12 per day, reservation required with the owners). The communal parking lot is located behind the house. Travel light: linens are provided. End-of-stay cleaning is available as an option.
