Not what I expected

This was not the quality that I have come to expect from a Country Inn & Suites facility. The basics are all there, the location is great, the breakfast selection was better than most, and our room was a great size. However, the floors are disgusting. The floors in the hallways, on the stairs, and in the room. It truly looks like they have never been shampooed. The "kitchen" area in our room was also dirty with crumbs and residue from the people who had stayed before us. I would probably not stay here the next time we come to town.

When the heat was turned on it started to smoke and set the fire alarm off. Staff at the hotel tried to downplay this, saying that it was “normal behavior” and refused to refund our stay. We will not be back.

Could be better

This hotel used to be one of the better ones in Appleton. Not anymore. The room was shabby, with stained carpet and beds that dipped in the middle. The pool was freezing. I doubt we’ll choose to stay here again.

Enjoyed the stay for one night in standard room and the bed was comfortable. Nice pulsating shower. The breakfast was great with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and corned beef hash. Other options of waffles, cereal, muffins, etc. The only issue was strong chlorine smell in hot tub.

We had a fast and friendly check. The staff were very nice. Breakfast was great, great variety of food. Our room was very clean, the only downfall was the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Other than that things were great, they had a nice size pool and hot tub for relaxation.

Everything about the property was excellent except the pillows. They’re awful! Most hotels have super nice fluffy pillows thus the hotel branded pillow & mattress was born. This hotel has definitely not participated in that bring your own! I can’t say enough wonderful things about everything else. The staff is awesome, breakfast, the facilities, landscaping et al. We’ll absolutely stay there again we’ll just bring our own pillows
