Such a beautiful cottage with such quality in all areas, from flooring to furniture to furnishing to powerful shower to dishwasher. Very quiet location with lovely farm animals around. Would definitely stay again. Great location to cover the dales, cumbria and lake district. One very small issue of the noise from creaking floor boards above the main bedroom and people who wake up at 6am staying. Who does that on holiday?

A wonderful place to stay. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable, very well equipped accommodation. Really friendly hosts, on a working farm. There is a nice outdoor seating area to really enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of being on a farm. Welcome pack of tea/coffee, milk and Wine! Even a doggy welcome bag with treats and a ball. In a beautiful location- lots of local walks and perfect for visiting The Lakes or the Dales. Yes...you need to drive to Kirkby Stephen or Appleby for shops but that wasn't a problem. A number of great local pubs for delicious meals...again a short car journey away. Cannot fault The Granary. Spent a fantastic week there and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended! No wifi....but 4G reception was possible.
