Beautiful resort! All the staff made us feel welcome and were all very kind. There was something new on the buffet every day. Great food! The pool area and the beach were very relaxing. The small music events were very appreciated.

Solid hotel. Great staff. They did their best and the food was very good. Once they make the beach in man made fashion with less rocks, it will be a true five star. I appreciate it takes time to make beaches more user friendly and look forward to seeing how it improves. Wish them well and look forward to seeing the improvements over time! Lovely 4 night stay on a solo trip. The staff were excellent and everyone I met went out of their way to give good service. The hotel is modern and the pool area and beach are lovely. Swim shoes are a must for the beach. The food was tasty and lots of variety. A typical buffet so warm rather than hot. The food at the beach was good value, as were the drinks. Spa treatments are very expensive so I didn’t book. The rooms are comfortable and very functional but not 5* luxury. I found it adequate as a solo traveller, but felt it would be cramped if another person was in the room.

Outstanding hotel, good sized rooms overall Jacuzzi was clean and perfect temperature, very nice out door space to relax in the evening with amazing views Half board food was good and catered for every palate, and changed daily. easy to change lunch to dinner or dinner to lunch depending on plans Breakfast was outstanding Plenty of excursions can be organised by the hotel so will always have something to do. The pool area was very relaxing and the majority of people were in the same age group. Both the pool and beach areas were very clean and easy to order drinks and food to the sun lounger with an app! The spa was great and had one of the best massages in my life. During my stay I lost a ring, and everyone went above and beyond to find it and they’ve managed to locate in one of the pool filters! Highly recommend this hotel without any hesitation and we’ll definitely come back!

Nice and comfortable hotel, but not worth the price. Check-in is weird: employee gives you a QR-code and you do your own check-in, while they wait... They also decided to start cleaning the room one hour before official check-out time, even if we were not ready. For the dinner buffet, water not included in the price (it comes free with every meal everywhere else on the island). Altogether definitely not worth the price.

For sure not a five star hotel. The staff was polite but uncoordinated, I had to visit reception desk many times. The biggest drawback was the facilities, I was so close to had an accident in the indoor swimming pool due to the slippery deck-there was no sign anywhere to warn people to be careful. The gym was obsolete with rust in the equipment and the ceiling was leaking. The breakfast was ok, not that much fresh I can say.

Our stay at La Mer resort was a great surprise! We arrived quite late, after midnight and still had a pleasant reception. Everything was ready for us and we even got unexpected drinks with some fruits and a sandwiches. The room was clean, modern with great bed and warm shower. All we needed at that time. Everything was as described in the web site and I risk to say, above our expectation. Spacious restaurant with a large variety for all tastes and a nice view to the outside. All architecture and decoration is nice,with large windows so that you are always looking to the outside. We hired a car at Chania airport and unless you are considering to stay all your time at the hotel, which is possible, I do recommend to hire a car to explore the island. Finally, the service, the best we ever had. All staff, without exception, very friendly and helpful, always greeting you with a smile in the face.

Room was like a cell. Just 2 twin beds. No seating. No nightstand. Found a stool to use as nightstand. At least had 2 chairs & tableon balcony. Beach almost non existent. Did not keep Greek tourism guidelines. My wife contracted covid & we informed hotel & followed guidelines. Isolated/imprisoned in our room for 5 days. No room cleaning during this time. Gave us sheets we changed beds etc. On 5th evening went to sit by pool bar where there were maybe 3 other people outside. We wore our masks. Manager came & basically shooed us away back to our room in a most unfriendly manner. My wife later that evening called him to inform him we were within our rights to do so as Greek Ministry of Tourism now has 0 isolation rules for tourists who catch covid effective 7/7/22. On the Schengen visa web site. He would not believe us.Do not go here or you will lose all you vacation dearly paid for. Staff was lovely throughout.

La vue depuis la chambre est magnifique mais pas d’ombre le matin sur le balcon. Chambre magnifique et très design mais il n’y a pas d’armoire, placard ou tiroir pour les habits, juste une grande penderie (tringle) pour des ceintres. La piscine est magnifique et les transats très sympas. Malheureusement il n’y a pas assez de places (plage ou piscine) pour le nombre de chambres, il faut réserver sa place très tôt, sinon il n’y aura aucun endroit où se poser et il faut attendre pour le cas ou quelqu’un partirait. La plage est en gros cailloux, la mer est donc difficile d’accès, chaussures indispensables. La nourriture est très bonne et le buffet (demi-pension) est très varié. Le personnel est très attentif et sympathique.
