"As is very typical of this resort: everything is kept a secret that it is up to the visitor to figure out. For instance, the beach photo shown of the property is the beach where the seaweed washes in daily. There is no swimming but there is a big stink. Their remedy (there is none for the problem) is to send a tractor with trailer onto the beach every morning at 7am to grind away while workers clean up. Sleep in on vacation? Forget it!
The swimming beach is on the large bay also shown in the photo. The water is definitely dirty.
No one informs you of what restaurants are open when: you must ask. And if you get that information, someone else will tell you something different and no one tells you to make dinner reservations days ahead of when you might actually want to go to one of the restaurants. The absence of information was really annoying. Could they not provide all the information in a one-page handout including a resort map at checkin or in the room? On the plus side, the resort is kid friendly and food is good."
