All of the reviews I had read about this place said the staff was amazing but I found quite the opposite. When I arrived everyone looked at me like ……hello? As if i was inconveniencing them by even being there. Every question I asked had to be translated because I dont speak Spanish and they just always seemed quiet annoyed by this. On my first night I went to ahve dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and they told me at 5:30pm they were done serving food AND drinks at 6. So even though it was 5:30 they wouldn’t even serve me a drink…6pm is a crazy time to be closed for food and drink so that was very disappointing,. And again, they weren’t giving this information in a nice way, they were annoyed I was even asking to be served. I know it’s a 3 start hotel but the staff was not kind or welcoming at alllllll. There was RARELY a receptionist at the front desk and if there was she was annoyed to answer questions. The ONLY thing I appreciated about this place was how quiet it was. I had friends at other hotels/hostels and they couldn’t sleep from dogs barking/ couples having sex etc. It was very quiet to sleep and had a very cold fan and comfortable bedding.

A truly beautiful, boutique colonial-era hotel. It is super clean, with great staff, and the room was big and comfortable, with a great bed. It's perfectly located near downtown Antigua Guatemala, shops, and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Nice little place with dining options.Staff members are super friendly and very keen to help.The breakfast is outstanding and the other dining options leave nothing to desire. All in all a very pleasant stay and very nicely priced,we surely we'll be back.We stayed here twice so far,the first time three nights and the second one two nights.If you have a choice then take the bigger rooms😀

At first my family and I really liked the hotel, it looked clean with comfortable beds and pillows. Friendly staff, parking right on the back, close restaurants. But unfortunately the last day of our stay when we woke up we found bed bugs, that was so disgusting and very unpleasant, honestly I wasn’t expecting to see anything like this. We have traveled to over 15 countries around the world and this is our first time that we encountered bed bugs.

The courtyard around the room was beautiful, the room was big and spacious with high ceilings. The beds were comfy. The staff were friendly and offered to help where they could.

Guatemalan Get Away

Nice quaint little hotel, but could never get the wifi to work typical of Guatemala I suppose, not complaining too loud that's a 1st world problem. The tub wasn't as advertised, also probably a first world problem. Was no way a person could sit down and bathe in that tub and it had residue in it every morning from? OK for a shower however.

Pure condition of the room we got. There was no glass in the upper part of windows, it was too cold to sleep like that at night. The bathroom has absolutely no ventilation and there’s not a single hanger in the bathroom. The hangers - any kind in the bathroom is a must!
