A charming, authentic, traditional Morvan house dating from the 19th century, fully renovated, nestled on a hillside at the edge of a vast field, close to the edge of the woods, in a peaceful little rural hamlet in the heart of the countryside, 4 km from the picturesque town of Anost, perched at 550m altitude in the heart of a sublime, preserved environment of gentle mountains, a place of residence for many artists (visual artists, sculptors, writers, musicians…), with many amenities (small shops & services) as well as a chapel & a 12th-century Romanesque church (housing the famous "Recumbent Figures of Anost", a 13th-century masterpiece classified as a Historical Monument). A magnificent natural and rural setting surrounds this charming cottage, nestled in a verdant valley of gentle pastures and wooded meadows, crossed by a bucolic, fish-filled river (a protected ZNIEFF site due to its rich fauna and flora), in the heart of a vast forest within the Morvan Regional Natural Park.
