About this property

Lazy Acres Farmhouse old world charm

A Little Piece of Texas History

Escape to this charming 1841 farmhouse—one of the oldest homes in Collin County—nestled among more than 40 acres of rolling meadows and mature trees.

This is the kind of place where you can slow down, breathe a little deeper, and enjoy the simple things. Start your morning with coffee on the wraparound covered porch, relax on the porch swing, and take in the peaceful views. In the evening, watch the sunset over the fields as deer and wild turkey make their way through the property. If you're lucky, you may even hear the coyotes howling under a full moon.

While it feels wonderfully secluded, you're still close to everything. The farmhouse is conveniently located near several popular wedding venues and Hurricane Creek Country Club, and it's just a short drive to downtown McKinney, where you'll find great restaurants, shopping, breweries, and entertainment.

Whether you're visiting for a wedding, planning a weekend getaway, looking for a peaceful place to work remotely, or simply want to experience a little Texas history, this unique farmhouse offers something you won't find in a typical rental.

Come for the history. Stay for the sunsets, porch swings, and wide-open Texas sky.
