My first choice in Ann Arbor

I love this hotel … It may be a bit dated, but the cleanliness, friendly staff, nice breakfast & overall atmosphere cannot be beat … Very easy to get back & forth to UMich in just a few minutes & close to Whole Foods & good shopping, restaurants & parks … First choice when it’s available!

The look of the property was very modern with various flowers surrounding the hotel when we first came in - lobby was very nice and had a good ambiance about it - breakfast buffet was very good - our room was nice except for one thing - the mattress needs to be changed - it made my wife itch - she has sensitive skin - otherwise nice

Last-minute surprise

Very well maintained property. The pool and hot tub area were especially well kept. Our trip got slightly rerouted so I had to make a last-minute hotel stay. Breakfast was delicious as well.

Nice stay for a quick stopover

The rooms were clean but the carpet on the floor was dated and looked like it needed to be steam cleaned. The breakfast area was very small but the staff did keep it well stocked. I was greatful for the iced water always in the lobby. The pool and jacuzzi and gardens were well maintained.

Staff were great, but hotel is very dated and needs improvements. Tub and sink clogged when used. Common space on second floor was not wiped down when we went to sit and eat our take out. Breakfast was good and that space maintained well. The hotel only offered vending machines. No little market to buy water, soda, snacks, etc. Kind of felt like a motel in that respect.
