Perfect stay.

Absolutely fantastic, the room was spotless with lovely soaps in the bathroom. The pool and sauna were excellent. Breakfast and dinner were exceptional. All round Carnoustie is one of my favourite hotels in Scotland- the staff are brilliant. The golf courses were in immaculate condition.

Staff were very friendly in all interactions from reception, bar, restaurant and housekeeping. The hotel had excellent parking facilities. We took advantage of an offer of a paid for upgrade overlooking the golf course. The room was a good size with coffee machine, coffee pods, tea and hot chocolate. Iron, ironing board and hair dryer also provided. Slightly surprised by lack of fridge and safe. Bathroom was also a good size with large towels and spa products in refillable containers, shower had excellent power and hot water. Food and bar service was excellent. Reason for giving 4* was really soft but lumpy pillows and small bed size.

Stayed for dunhill golf tournament 3 nights. Booked in advance so very good rate . Standard double room. Clean and spacious. Kyle on reception very helpful and courteous. All staff members polite. Breakfast very busy but although some slight delays with taking orders generally kept on top of things. Replenished items quickly. Would stay again
