1. This place is very cute and the interior property pictures are spot on. The decorations are nicely understated (beach theme without being BEACH THEME). 2. The kitchen was well appointed. The pots and pans were really nice, there are quality knives and basic spices, plenty of plates/dishes/cups/silverware. Also there were nicely LOTS of games and even some books.3. The ice maker in the freezer does not work. Bring an ice machine or be prepared to purchase ice.4. This place is not on the water. There is a slight water view but only from select parts of the property. It isn't even on a back lot, but behind the house on a back lot with an easement to the water. The owner stated it was a short one minute walk but he must be in excellent shape compared to me. It took a lot longer to walk to the dock. You have to go across a street, down multiple sets of stairs (past 2 different houses) and then you are on uneven ground up against a fence for the last part of your walk. Then once you get to the water, you are at the dock. But you can't swim or fish off of the dock and the dock is rather rickety. 5. The area has loads of things to do nearby, restaurants a coffee truck and a donut shop. Plus on the water there is a food truck (is it a truck when it is floating?) and the corner store is nice plus the people working at the corner store were really helpful.
