We had a great time at this property! Lots of room for families with kiddos, and the quick walk to the lake was a huge bonus for the toddlers. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. The beds were comfy. And for us, the lack of knick knacks in the house was ideal (because of toddlers). We hope to be back!

Wonderful house!

We had a great trip and the house is exactly as advertised. We had 7 in our group and there was more than enough space for everyone. It was nice for the kids to be able spread out in their own spaces after a long drive there. Really great having the lake and some trails right across the road. Only had one minor issue and it was resolved very quickly. It was honestly impressive that it was handled so quickly. We'd definitely come back or recommend it.

Staying off season

Beautiful property and town. We stayed the week after the ski season ended as that’s when my son’s spring break was. Cheryl was kind enough to let us know that when we booked the property but we decided to stay in Angel Fire anyway and are very glad we did. The only downside was the lack of restaurants being open during the off season which had nothing to do with this beautiful home. Would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Angel Fire.

Angel Fire Family Trip

The property is great (location, size, amenities)! Our family especially appreciated that all 12 (6 adults and 6 teens/kids) of us could sit down to dinner together. We would only suggest that you add lighting or brighten the bulbs.

Incredible property with awesome amenities

This house was perfect for the Texas Tree Transformations Winter Retreat. Had plenty of room with some to spare for our whole crew. The house was clean and furnished with everything we needed. The communication with the owners was amazing, and they were always super helpful. We left our trip agreeing that we would come back here again next year.

Family getaway

The home was beautiful with a beautiful view. Across the street from a stunning lake and lots of great hiking. Although not a lot in Angel Fire it’s a quick beautiful drive over to Red River for more activities! House feels remote but is close to everything you need. It was the perfect accommodation for the four couples in my family. Would stay again!

Fantastic family home!

Our family loved the stay in this Angel Fire home. The house was roomy enough for us to all have space to spread out. The beds were very comfortable, the house was clean, bathrooms well stocked with towels etc. The kids enjoyed the outdoor space and played in the huge backyard every day. We also enjoyed walking to Monte Verde lake almost every day, the trail around the lake is an easy 1 mile walk. We also rented a paddle boat and canoe, the folks at the lake were very accommodating and friendly, even lent us a couple of life jackets for our paddle board. Angel Fire was only a 5 minute drive away. We also took day trips to Santa Fe and Taos. We would definitely stay here again for any future trips to Santa Fe. Cheryl was so easy to work with and nice. Thanks for sharing this pleasant vacation home!

Beautiful newer home with a wonderful view. House was very accommodating and comfortable for us all. Only complaints are low water pressure and need better shades for the dining and living room for the evenings when the sun is coming in those windows. Really enjoyed our stay there!

We had a great time, this house is it a great size and it has all you need. It is 5 mins away from The Angel Fire Sky Resort. Cheryl, our contact for this rental, was always very helpful and a super fast answering all our inquiries. If we go back to that area, we will stay in this house again.

Ski Trip

The property was absolutely beautiful and provided the perfect amount of space for us and our friends. We really enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen. We also loved soaking in the hot tub after each day of skiing. It was a little difficult getting in and out of the driveway due to weather, but the owners were very kind to provide salt for the slippery driveway. This was the perfect getaway and we would love to come back!

Great sray

House was great for our family. When we could get the showers to turn on the responded was quick. We just need to pull the handle out. And the bear at the front door the last night got everyone moving, it move along without causing any trouble. Second time we have atayed at this house. Loved it both times. Liked the dinning room in the back of the house better.
