The main level opens into a great room under exposed timber trusses, with a wood-burning stove, a smart TV, and a sofa with dual chaise lounges that seats 4. A sitting area for 4 looks out over the Cougar Trail and opens onto a deck for watching wildlife. The dining table seats 7 and opens into the fully equipped kitchen, which has full-size appliances, including a gas range and dishwasher. From the kitchen, a door leads to the covered back porch and fenced back yard. Off the hallway, a full bathroom has a walk-in shower and a full-size washer and dryer.
The primary suite is also on the main level, with a king bed, a smart TV, a desk, and an en suite primary bathroom with a double vanity, a deep soaking tub, a separate shower stall, and a stove-style heater.
Stairs lead to the upper level, where the second bedroom has a king bed and the third bedroom has a queen bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed. Each has a Roku TV, and the two bedrooms share a connecting bathroom with a glass shower.
A game room on the main level, entered from the front of the house, gives part of the group a separate place to gather. It has a pressed-tin ceiling, a three-seat leather sofa, a smart TV, and family games. The hot tub is next door, in a sunroom attached to the garage.
Outside, the deck has Adirondack chairs and a table for outdoor dining, and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs looks out over the meadow. Up to two dogs can use the fenced back yard, and the Cougar Trail is a short walk out the door.
Pack and plays and high chairs can be requested for an additional fee, subject to availability.
Monte Verde Lake is close by. Angel Fire Resort's ski base area is an 8-minute drive, and the Angel Fire Country Club is 6 minutes away.

LOCATION: Direct access to the Cougar Trail from the property. 8 minutes' drive (3.5 miles) from the ski base area, 6 minutes' drive (2.1 miles) from the Angel Fire Country Club, close to Monte Verde Lake.
PARKING: Covered carport for 1 vehicle, with room for 2 more in the driveway. The garage is not available for parking.
POOL AND FITNESS: Not on-site. The indoor pool and fitness center at the Angel Fire Country Club, 2.1 miles away, are open to guests for a daily, weekly, or monthly fee.
The indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness center at the Lodge at Angel Fire Resort are reserved for Lodge and Eagle Wing Suites guests and are not included with this home.
WHAT TO KNOW:

Check-in is available after 4 p.m. at the front desk of the Lodge at Angel Fire Resort. Please return keys and fobs to the front desk by 10 a.m. at check-out.
This home has a doorbell camera at the front entrance and exterior wildlife cameras on the property. There are no cameras inside the home.
Because Angel Fire does not have residential trash pickup, guests must take trash to the Recycling Center. A map to the Recycling Center is in the guestbook. Please do not leave trash outside, as wildlife will open the bags. A Trash Removal option is available for $100.00, and we will remove all bagged trash from the property after check-out. If trash is left in the property, a $300.00 Trash Removal Penalty will be charged to the reservation.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere at this property, including decks and patios.
Pine Haven is a designated pet-friendly home. Up to two dogs are welcome for a $125.00 pet fee.
A 4WD or AWD vehicle, or chains, is required to reach this home during the winter months (November–March). If you are not used to winter driving, please be prepared for difficult conditions and use caution.
