Overall it was good. Loved the free parking. As I found in my 6 week U.K. holiday everything was great, except for some of the ripoff expensive car parking. Staff except the cook was friendly. Thankyou White Hart.

Well I will start by saying staff were very friendly. The hotel is very tired poor decor hostel quality bathroom although large. Parking was a nightmare very packed and unorganised. Good central location would use again and pay more if it ever gets refurbished .

Good: breakfast, breakfast staff, location in town centre. Bad: check-in staff, bedrooms in terrible condition (cracked tiles, peeling paint, exposed pipes in bedroom floor)

Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities
Room walls were damaged, peeling wallpaper, floors not clean. Bedsheet dirty had to be changed by staff. Carpet in bar where we ate supper and breakfast was disgusting . Honestly if I could have stayed somewhere else I would have, but 8 pm on a Sunday night prior to a family funeral the next morning made that difficult. Not to be recommended. Marston’s brewery need to invest some money and really put some work into this place.

Great welcoming service, good breakfast and nice large room. The best ‘family room’ I have ever stayed in. It was really spacious for a family of four, plenty of free floor space around all the beds. Will definitely stay again

Relaxing stay

Clean and comfortable room. Easy parking with the car park permit, this is one of the reasons we use this pub to stay at.

This was an old pub/hotel so had that lovely ambiance. It was comfortable and clean; the staff was friendly and helpful. But the room had plaster patched that needed to be painted so looked unattended to. The breakfast was unexceptional & expensive. Other than those two things - it was fine for the price.
