Enjoy a peaceful stay at this 2-bedroom private house in Anchorage. Built before the Great Alaska earthquake in a unique design, recently fully remodeled. The home is hidden between the mountains and the inlet views. Just off the New Seward Hwy, close to many hikes (10 min), grocery stores and shops (5/10min), famous Potter Marsh (2 min), Alyeska Ski Resort & Nordic Spa (40 min). The charming bedrooms feature a Posturepedic king bed and an adjustable Setra queen bed, perfect for a restful night. Guests can unwind in the fantastic living room, which offers additional sleeping options with two pullout twin beds or a queen air mattress (upon request). The bathroom includes a jetted bathtub, adding a touch of relaxation to your visit. (There’s no walk-in shower). Washer and dryer is in the house. Also, enjoy the outdoor dining and fire pit in the warmer days. Please be aware of two steps from the living room into the kitchen and bedrooms. We look forward to welcoming you to Alaska at our place.

We had a great time at this beautiful, quiet home! We were two couples and loved having a beautiful modern kitchen and two spacious bedrooms. The living room had very comfortables chairs and a sofa with a big screen to watch movies. We saw a moose in the driveway who just casually walked away. We hope to stay again if we come back to Anchorage!

Beautiful home! I loved the unique design of the home. It was very comfortable. My only complaint was the shower wasn’t what I’m used to with the whole bathroom being the shower room. The jacuzzi tub was amazing though!

Very clean home and freshly remodeled. We really enjoyed our stay and the location is great. The one bathroom took the 4 of us a day or so to get used to but all of us would definitely book again. It is a unique set up but we all agreed that it adds to the charm of this home. Contacting our host was easy and quick responses were much appreciated. Thank you very much and we would all recommend this place for friends and family and really anyone who asks.

You need to be careful of random steps going to the bathroom. The shower/tub is not practical. But otherwise very clean and cute!

This is a super cute, unique and beautifully decorated home. The kitchen had everything we needed, with additional hot beverage components and snacks. The property was woodsy and nicely out of town, but an easy, short drive to a grocery store and gas station. Downtown was not a long drive either. A mama moose and her baby, a bunny and a cat in the yard entertained us during our stay. I will note, as shown in the picture on the main page, only one room has a door. This is not a deal-breaker, but something to consider if your family has lots of different bedtimes or sleep/privacy needs. We managed it alright with 3 adult/teen children. We would definitely stay here again, both for the location, the house itself, and the host.:) This is a special and delightful accommodation!
