This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast. I hope our next one is just a nice as this one was! Breakfast was Amazing the beds were super comfortable excellent water pressure for the shower! Extremely clean, easy to get to and from with a Lyft.

This is the old traditional bed-and-breakfast, where the woman who lives in the house and owns the place is the one who meets and greets you, cooks your meals, and settles your check. The house is very nice and they’ve converted five bedrooms into B&B rooms. The proprietress was very nice and interesting (she even wrote an autobiographical book). The breakfast was excellent.

This is a fantastic place to stay. The owners are ever present and willing to answer all of your questions. The breakfast is amazing. Different choices every day. Plenty of options to choose from. Very quiet are. Plenty of parking. Would definitely choose to stay here in future travels.

If you are looking for a relaxing escape, this is it! The property is gorgeous and quiet. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even helping us plan our day with local tips. Kathryn and Len were wonderful hosts. Helpful with tips regarding things to do and where to eat in the area. Easy check in/check out process. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with options for everyone. If we return to Anchorage, I'd definitely consider staying at Deal's B&B again.

Staying with the Deals was one of the highlights of our stay in Alaska. The facilities were ideal for our party of four. Beds were more than comfortable, breakfast was first rate, and the conversations were motivating. From stories about their experiences as homesteaders in Alaska, to the local recommendations, they were wonderful hosts! Hope we can return someday.

I don't know if I will visit Anchorage again, but it would be worth a trip just to stay with the Deals. They came to Alaska in 1964, just after the earthquake, and they have many fascinating stories to tell. Such lovely people! Besides which, our room was beautiful and spotless, breakfast was great, plenty of parking if you have a car, very convenient location.

Wonderful host at this bed & breakfast home. Quiet, warm, and inviting. Room was spacious with a private bath. AC in room. Breakfast had various hot and cold selections, plenty of options. My only recommendations is that there be longer blackout curtains to cover the entire bedroom window. As someone not from Alaska, I am not used to all the light coming through. Room didn't get dark enough.

It looks like just a split-level house, but Mr. and Mrs. Deal have turned it into a lovely oasis for visitors. They recommended Sofia's for lunch, an easy mile walk, and the food there is amazing. Mrs. Deal very kindly agreed to hold most of our luggage while we did a train ride to Seward for an overnight stay. She even put together a perfect brown bag breakfast since we were leaving so early. Our room is lovely and the bed is very comfortable. The entire house is spotless. I highly recommend Deals B&B.
