The Radisson Blu was a perfect choice for us . Its right in the center of the city very close to everything we really didn't want to leave. We walked everywhere so bring comfortable shoes. Restaurant were everywhere around us. And the museums were right down the street. Central Station was about a 10 min walk . We were a few blocks from the red light district and De Oude Kerk . We walked to the Heineken experience. I had no idea we would be this close to everything. So wonderful and time saving. The room was pretty big had a canal view abd the staff was very friendly. They even held our luggage after we had already checked out so that we could go to dinner one last time before our flight. We will definitely return to this hotel again.

Staff good. Paid to upgrade to Superior room but was a mistake. Last time I stayed in normal room it was good. This time they said the superior rooms are across the road but u need to go down to -1 level in the main building, walk through the hole under the road and take a lift again to your room. Long journey, not what u want when back in the hotel tired. Its a nice hotel but not sure if its good value for money. Superior room was nothing special, just a few metre squares bigger, it was a waste of money to upgrade

We were welcomed by professional and courteous reception staff upon our arrival to what is a wonderful and unique hotel. The room was nicely furnished, had a high ceiling and a very comfortable bed (no memory foam or mattress topper thankfully). Apart from one day when the cleaning staff forgot about us, it was the perfect stay and one we hope to repeat next time we visit Amsterdam.

Stayed four nights for business, good location, handy to centre of town, Metro and tramlines, cafes and restaurants all a short walk away. Comfortable and clean, good breakfast buffet, and the staff were very helpful getting me into a room early after a long flight. Will stay here again.

Stayed last week at the Radisson Blu Hotel. Great location, food was excellent and for the most part helpful staff. The only feedback I would give is to the Breakfast staff. On my first morning, trying to navigate my way around the buffet, asked a couple of staff where to find various things and got a wave of a hand.. would have been more helpful if they had actually shown me. I would also add, as it was my first morning, a brief explanation of how the breakfast is served, i.e. in some hotels, they sit you down and take your tea / coffee order then you go up to the buffet but at the Radisson, you do everything yourself. It would have been nice to have been informed of this. Overall though, was a great stay and would recommend.

I had a really great stay here overall. The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean, and clearly kept up to date. My room was spotless and the view was amazing, so that part really set the tone for a good trip. Most of the staff were really friendly, welcoming, and you could tell they enjoyed working there. I’m not a needy customer at all and I usually keep to myself, so I don’t really ask for anything during my stay. The only issue I had was during check in. The woman who helped me at the front desk wasn’t very welcoming. She seemed a little rude, and when I got to my room the keys didn’t even work. I had to walk all the way back to get new ones. The people who helped me the second time were much nicer, but when I looked over at the first woman she had a smirk on her face. It honestly made me feel like maybe she didn’t activate the keys correctly on purpose. I’m not saying she did, but that smirk really made me feel that way. Besides that, everything else was amazing and I would definitely stay here again. The overall experience, the room, and the rest of the staff really made up for that one situation.
