They were defrosting refrigerator of our room. Frig stuffed with towels. We mentioned this was bothersome and they said they could move us but the asked if we had used the bathroom and acted that if we had it would need to be recleaned so we never moved. Came back later to find water all over floor and they gave us towels to clean it up ourselves.

Was in town for a concert in Ames. Room was good, clean. We didn't have breakfast so I cant comment on that, however we were down before 9 am and didn't see any coffee anywhere, pots aren't in the room either which is why I gave that 2 stars.

Really I loved my room and there were no unexpected charges at check in (which I was fearful of on a tight budget). Staff were kind and helpful. I felt safe and comfortable, and I needed that because I'd just been put on antibiotics that morning for a severe tooth infection. Breakfast was very limited, but they did have it. Overall, I would highly recommend it.
