Sent away because complained wet carpet

Sent to a room with wet carpet. Lots of very wet carpet that smelled like dirty wet carpet. Upon returning to the front desk, the clerk told me the hotel was sold out, if I didn’t want the room she had given me then I could call hotels.com and she would get me a refund and I could leave. Single woman alone, 9pm, no other reservation in Vallejo/American Canyon. Unacceptable

Staff was great. Rooms and hallways need an upgrade. Rooms need updated A/C units, plumbing, fixtures, fix patched walls and tile in bathrooms. Hallways need patched walls fixed and painted with a better paint color selection.

The staff were awesome! We enjoyed our stay. Although renovations are in progress, I rated the property and cleanliness 3 stars. The hallway and room carpet was stained and had an odor, bathroom shower water pressure was low, and dust was hanging from the bathroom vent. The room color and hotel exterior colors are dark and depressing. The pond is nice but area needs better landscaping. Hopefully with the renovations, a more modern and brighter look is in the plans.

This is by far the cleanest hotel I ever stay in and the staff is friendly and they have live music on Thursday and Friday’s. Angel was our waitress and she was always on top of us and every customer for service. Definitely I will come back to this hotel

I liked that the rooms were a decent size and the walls were thick enough to block sound. I didn't like that the furnishing and amenities (AC, shower) were outdated and in poor repair. The continental breakfast cost money and was flavorless (although a decent amount of food).
