Electric heating (extra/meter). Enclosed courtyard 100 m². Access to the accommodation from the courtyard via 3 small steps. Firewood option (€50/stere). Covered shelter for 1 car. Non-smoking cottage. Loan of 2 bicycles on request. Varenne sous Chandon lake, beautiful walk to do on foot. Electric vehicle terminal approximately 6 km away. Our cottage, which can accommodate up to 4 people, is located just a stone's throw from the pretty tourist town of Amboise, all its amenities and shops, and its world-famous Château Royal which sits in the heart of the town. Situated in a quiet corner of the countryside, the house is the former outbuilding of a farm and is the ideal base for exploring the Loire Valley. The region is home to a multitude of the region's riches: the castles (Amboise but also Chenonceau, Blois, Villandry, Azay le Rideau, Langeais, Le Clos Lucé, etc.), its vineyards (Vouvray, Montlouis, Chinon, Bourgueil) and its gastronomy. Not forgetting the Touraine Aquarium 3 km away, the proximity of the "La Loire à vélo" route (2 bikes can be borrowed on request) or Tours, the regional capital.
