The building is a beautiful old house split into apartments, the decor could do with an update but is acceptable, the sanitary fixtures are tired but still work. Would stay again, great location.

De locatie van deze accommodatie is erg mooi, bovenop een heuvel met prachtig uitzicht vanaf de bovenste etage. Maar daar houden de pluspunten van deze accommodatie direct mee op. De hal stinkt en is niet schoon. En in het appartement is het niet beter. Het is absoluut niet schoon en alles is oud. De vloerbedekking is vies en overal zit stof en spinnenwebben. Door sommige ramen kun je niet eens fatsoenlijk naar buiten kijken. Eén van de twee badkamers heeft geen douche, alleen een bad. Er zijn veel verraderlijke afstapjes en hoogteverschillen. Er is weinig aandacht gegeven aan de ruimtes. Kortom, wij vinden Ambleside prachtig maar komen hier zeker niet meer terug.
