Faultless stay. The whole place was immaculately clean. Being on motorbikes with very wet weather the room was lovely and warm for helping dry out clothing over night. Will deffinatley stay again. Breakfast lovely too plenty of choice and nice fresh food .

The selection at breakfast was great, especially for a continental offer, although some items could have been slightly better quality. This is our first trip to Lake District and Brathay Lodge helped to make it a great family experience for us. Very clean and spacious room, nice breakfast, staffs are nice can helpful especially for arranging EV charging.

Very friendly hotel located just outside of the main town centre. Parking was easy and reasonably priced, and the welcome by the host was excellent. The whole hotel was very clean, comfortable bed, nice shower bathroom, and a good selection for breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely 3 night stay

We spent 3 nights at Brathay Lodges. The rooms are spacious and fairly modern with a lovely en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was a lovely continental breakfast with a good range of options. We would stay again!

Highly Recommended place to stay

Our stay at Brathay Lodge was fantastic. Our room was spotless, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was also brilliant, it was right in the heart of Ambleside and close to all the main parts of the Lake District. The reserved parking spot was also a lovely added touch.

Lovely stay. Excellent location for exploring the Lake District. Close local transportation, restaurants, and pubs. Our children enjoyed park across the street with mini putt, tennis, lawn bowling, chip and putt, and croquet. Also, a great continental breakfast!
