Great hotel with water view!

We will never forget our stay at Al Pesce d'Oro! The hotel is a bed-and-breakfast with a reputable and delicious restaurant located on the premises. It is situated on top of a hill with a fantastic view of the coast. From the moment we arrived, the staff was extremely friendly and attentive and they are what distinguishes this place from others. Andrea, who speaks English, was especially kind and helped us with whatever we needed. One of our best memories was the meal and wine we shared upon arrival- all with a gorgeous view of the water. The seafood risotto was the best I've ever had! Our room was spacious and clean with a balcony and water view. The breakfast every morning was superb! It is sit-down and thankfully not the typical buffet style. The just-baked pastries, breads, and freshly squeezed orange juice are some of the perks of having a chef and restaurant on location. Transportation was great. The staff was willing to drive us in the center of the town whenever we needed. But what we'll never forget is the kindness of Pasquale. On our last day, we were leaving to Positano and needed to catch a bus (which would have cost us $20 and about an hour with a lot of luggage). Out of the kindness of his heart, Pasquale saw us at the bus stop and offered to drive us all the way to Positano in his car in the middle of the day! We didn't speak the same language but we all bonded over fresh shaved lemon ice and a drive down the coast. Unforgettable! Al Pesce d'Oro is a true gem!
