Hidden gem!

Don’t let the drab exterior fool you, the rooms are newy refurbished in a classy and comfirtabke way. The restaurant/bistro features Norwegian classics as well as classics such as fish’n’chips and burgers. They have a kids’ menu as well. The staff are very helpful and service minded, even under pressure as they where when we stayed here. Will definitely be back on our next road trip!

Disappointing stay at the Taverna Alvdal

I was traveling with my brother and his two adults sons. We requested two rooms with twin beds each. What we got was one room with a double bed and two sets of bed linens. One son used the double bed and one used a pullout Hideabed which was two short for his average height. Our room had the same double bed configuration. However there was a pullout bunk bed which we used. If a hotel cannot response to your specific request they should not accept the reservation or at least communicate what they can provide
