Perhaps a little long in the tooth, but I don't mind the classic 1960s era. I prefer this to a cookie cutter motel without character. The Wye had what I needed, and at an affordable rate. Very satisfied and front desk was very nice and helpful. I wouldn't have the slightest hesitation about staying here again if I'm passing the Altoona area.

Really great old timey motel on the outskirts of Altoona. The kind of family owned and run place that used to be prevalent before the rise of the corporate hotel industry. The room decor may be a little dated and "throwback" but the place was spotless, the bed was super comfy, including super soft pillows, there's ample parking and really the whole experience was top notch. 10/10 recommended.
