Amenities at the resort were wonderful. I really appreciated the staff helping with scheduling all of our activities for us before we arrived. Food in both restaurants excellent. Rooms are very large and comfortable with a lovely view. We also enjoyed the spa. Front desk was very helpful. A special recognition for the staff member from Greece (I'm sorry that I do not remember his name), but he was especially helpful and welcoming. One suggestion: we asked about transportation to Trasti and Trine. A person at the desk offered to give us a ride in the van and pick us up. I tipped them for their effort - but was very surprised when presented with a hefty bill the next day. I should have been told the 10 minute ride would cost > $130 each way. Otherwise, everything was wonderful

Wonderful

Oh my a very well thought out design with rooms overlooking the river/stream. Nice balcony and every opportunity to see the Northern Lights in your room and on your balcony! A bit out from the town which was extra nice but not too far either! Daniel & Lars greeted us warmly! Auskin served our meal and was a fun bonus to our stay. Sonja made our morning with such a kind smile as we had breakfast! (Sorry for misspelling names!). We rested well. The hot chocolate was fantastic…thank you to all for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful location, stylish rooms and excellent staff. The fine dining restaurant and its tasting menu was terrific. So was the food in the Lavvu restaurant although I hope they expand the menu to include more choices in the future. Breakfast was buffet and plentiful. We stayed a night at the Ice Hotel which was a fun experience. We also went on two excursions with them which we enjoyed. I write for the blog Paradox Travels and will do an extended review there. So if interested, look us up and read a more extensive review with photos there in the upcoming month.

Fantastic!!

The hotel itself is lovely and the staff are very friendly. Bedrooms are a good size with lovely bathrooms and amazing views. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. The restaurant Makku was excellent however you cannot really eat there every night. Lavvu which is the other restaurant is nice however when you were there for more than two or three days the menu is a bit repetitive. the excursions were excellent and the guides were fantastic. Overall an incredible stay and a great experience.
