Right off the highway (which is so important out here!), we are far enough away to still have amazing dark skies - but close enough to still see everything. Our cabin gives guest the ability to enjoy the wild west in peace. And maybe even see the wild donkeys!!!

Very cute and clean cabin! We loved that it was not near any other tourist and had privacy while there, and is definitely off the grid if that’s what you’re looking for. Hosts were very nice and helpful. Check in and out was super easy. We will definitely stay again for our future trips to Big Bend if available.

Off the grid cabin but well designed for efficientcy and green energy. Ideal for traveling to Big Bend. Cute, cozy, and comfortable and immaculate. Mike was superb host and can introduce you to his two favorite donkeys, Mary Lou and Walter. Quiet and perfect for stargazing. Would stay their again in a heartbeat.
