If you are traveling with a trailer parking is horrible. There is cement barriers along the entrance they are not trailer friendly it is hard to pull in. The property ask you park in the designated area but it is impossible to pull in with a trailer due to the cement barriers.
My father and I stayed here during a fishing trip in the White Mountains, and this cabin could not have been a better fit for what we needed. It’s a great location; conveniently situated near several beautiful lakes and Black River. The cabin has everything you need and nothing you don’t. I’d gladly stay here again.
Cabin is perfect for 2 people, the beds are very firm. The set up was great, but the other cabins are very close to each other. The fire pit may be shared between all cabins. It rained to much during our stay to use it.
Cabin was cozy. Several items were unplugged and instructions said not to use unplugged items. (lamp, fan, microwave, floor heater). Didn't need those items so it didn't matter. Cabin was nice overall and enjoyed the stay.
Property took us back to the 50s era. All the appliances worked great & the lovely small old shower felt fabulous after the AZ heat. The beds were very firm and comfortable.
We sat on the tiny porch every morning thoroughly enjoying the Ponderosa pines & the quiet only the mountains can produce.
Very small but included everything we hoped for. We would stay here again.
Rustic and private . Our contact , Cortney Bell , was especially concerned about us getting settled in . It's pretty stressful to find and gain access to a place you've never been . Cortney was on it . We. immediately felt at home .
Cabin needs better maintenance, front porch light & inside lamp didn't work. Deep rust marks in bathroom sink, shower & toilet area so small my husband could almost not use, front railing on porch rotted out, and stove ancient. Seems for the amount of charged for the cabin, it should have been better maintained.
This cabin was perfect for the two of us. It was nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. The stove and the oven worked well. The cabin has a carport to park under which is a nice feature because we saw a big branch fall near it after a rain. We love the area and it’s conveniently located.
The host was very nice and accommodating and supplied a lot of great information and communicated very quickly.
The only negative thing is the total cost compared to the advertised per night cost was a pretty significant difference. After the additional fees at the end and after being forced to either buy a $60 insurance policy or give a $1500 deposit (which it added could possibly be kept for any reason- so we were scared to try that)
Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were super sad when we had to leave!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Very disappointed for price
NO HEAT! Told not to use wall heater, small wheeled radiator didn't work. No vent in bathroom. So, with high humidity & no heat, towels never dried. Bathroom sink very rusty & seperate taps...so very hot & very cold water. Cleaning solution used was toxic smelling. Took day to air out. For price, was not worth it. And, they wanted us to strip our own bed. Bed hard as a ROCK. Wifi password didnt work.
