For the price, I expected more from PLAZA Premium Almere. No toiletries, slippers, or robe provided, and only one bottle of water for the entire stay. Housekeeping was minimal (bed made, towels replaced) and the room stayed uncomfortably cold at 21°C. I even had to ask twice for coffee creamer. On the plus side, the location is excellent—just a block from the train station and near the fantastic Taydi’s Bakkery. The buffet breakfast (extra cost) was very good, with a wide variety and friendly staff, though items did run out early and weren’t always restocked. I’d only stay again for the convenience of the train, bakery, and breakfast—but I’d come prepared with my own essentials.

We stayed at this hotel but it wasn’t a hope skip and a jump away from Amsterdam. We chose to take the train there everyday which was expensive. We don’t mind being away from the direct location we wanted to go too (Amsterdam) but this for us was just too far. The hotel was nice, staff very kind but the breakfast was not good at all. It was the same thing everyday, good idea to change it up. We were there for 1 week. Would we stay here again, probably not.
