In Marina di Capilungo, located on a slight elevation 50 metres from the sea, one can stay in an ancient dwelling dating back to the early twentieth century. Originally, it was a shelter for horses and a carriage depot serving the three neighbouring villas.



The stable has become the living area; while the sleeping area was obtained from the former chicken coop. An intervention marked by local traditional materials and forgotten techniques. The stable, also dateable to the early 1900s, entirely built in dry stone, used for housing horses serving the villas, was restored in 2007.



The materials used for the restoration of the artifact in question are only natural and eco-compatible such as: cocciopesto, limestone, hydraulic limes, wood treated with natural products, hand-made recovered terracotta tiles, internal paintings in lime whitewashes.



The stable is composed of a spacious living room with a barrel vault in tuff stone left exposed while the perimeter walls are in stone, equipped with a kitchenette and a handmade terracotta sink, fireplace, a double bedroom (air-conditioned) with a wooden beam vault and chestnut boarding and stone walls, all exposed, equipped with air conditioning and LCD TV, bathroom and hallway, furthermore, it has an external pertinent surface of approximately 150 sqm finished in English lawn equipped with 2 showers, umbrellas, tables, sunbeds and chairs as well as a barbecue, practicable solarium terrace.



The entire property is enclosed with dry stone walls, while the part facing the sea has a tuff wall made of carparo stone, built around the 1960s.



Its extraordinary location just 50 ml from the sea, as well as the entire complex, makes it unique and unrepeatable.
