The only thing that did go well was Front Desk support in the evening - MacKenzie. She was very helpful and helped me with my Hilton Rewards. The room was outdated, fly on the window sill, hair dryer looked like a dog chewed it and the hot water took about 10 minutes to heat up before you could shower. Breakfast was Ok, but the first day the potatoes were so dry and the omelets didn't have cheese (I think it could have been an option). The second day the potatoes were pretty much raw and it was egg omelet soup. I was afraid we were both going to get sick. And don't even get me started on all of the screaming kids at breakfast... For $150 plus a night it wasn't worth it. I expected a lot more from a Hampton Inn.

My stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Bethlehem was very disappointing. The hotel is outdated, but the biggest issue was the nauseating smell in the room. The overpowering scent of chlorine and bleach was unbearable and made it impossible to feel comfortable. I couldn’t stay in the room for more than a few minutes without feeling physically sick. I asked the front desk if I could move to another room, but they told me there were no available rooms and that all rooms likely had the same smell due to the cleaning products they use. I wasn’t informed about this at the time of booking, which made my stay incredibly unpleasant. When I asked for help, they told me to call Expedia to cancel the reservation since I booked through them. I did just that, and Expedia called the front desk on my behalf. However, the hotel refused to cancel my reservation and denied my request for a refund, even though I had only checked in 1 hour earlier. They insisted I had to stay the full two nights. The staff was unhelpful, and I was left feeling completely frustrated by the lack of customer service.

I couldn't get changed into my suit for a very important meeting. 530am room next to me child screaming and the parents screaming back at the child. I dont know why the hotel would put children in a room next to adults, should have a section for families.
