This amazing villa in Vale da Telha is the perfect place for surf ehnthusiastics. Located near three beautiful surf spots, it’s ideal for catching waves by day and relaxing at the villa in the evening.

Walk through the front door and step into this amazing home. On your left there is a comfortable lounge and on your right there is the sun-filled living room that flows out to the private pool area through sliding French doors that showcases the gorgeous surroundings. Head through to the fully equipped kitchen and cosy dining area equipped with everything you need. Down the central corridor, you'll find two spacious double bedrooms, each with air conditioning. Between these bedrooms there is a stylish bathroom with a bathtub and overhead shower. Additionally, there is the master bedroom which is located at the back of the property, it features an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Step outside and you will be amazed by the spacious and beautiful garden with a private swimming pool, perfect to refresh and soaking up the Algarve sun. For those with a green thumb, there’s a garden shed and additional space for gardening projects. The patio, just off the lounge and kitchen, is perfect for outdoor dining and to end your day with drinks under the stars.

## Neighborhood

Located on the western coast of the Algarve and nestled within the Vicentina National Park, Vale da Telha is a sought after destination for young families, surfers, and nature lovers alike. The area is popular due to its unspoiled rugged coastline, clean beaches, temperate weather, and natural environment. The beaches of Arrifana and Monte Clerigo are 5-10 minutes by car. The area offers an array of restaurants, cafes, and 2 mini-supermarkets on its doorstep. The town of Aljezur is 10 minutes by car and has everything for day to day living including a health centre and 2 state schools. To further enhance the education offer there are 2 international schools, Aljezur International School and Story Forest. Faro airport is conveniently located 1 hour 15 minutes by car.

## Transit

From Faro Airport it takes you about 80 minutes by car to get to Vale da Telha. If you want to explore the area, a car is recommended as public transport is only available to Aljezur town but not up to Vale da Telha. Parking is free and abundant everywhere in this area.

Great weekend stay!

Had a great experience at Casa Monkey Business. The place is perfectly situated between Aljezur and the beach, and was a great home for our weekend stay. Communication was quick and efficient, and the place was comfortable. Would come again!

The house itself was basic and fine, tho note that the “3 bathrooms” description is misleading. It should read “1 en-suite, 1 bathroom, I guest toilet”.Facilities aside, the beds were comfortable, tho the dehumidifier in the en-suite leaked water everywhere. The shower in the en-suite is only for small people, btw. The kitchen is fairly well stocked, tho the coffee maker doesn’t work. The management team left much to be desired of a team. We had no hot water on our second night in the house, and I messaged, and then called, our contact, and not getting any response called the main office number, where I was told to text or call a different person. This I did, and got absolutely no response to my text. And no return call from either number. The texts on WhatsApp are of the disappearing kind, so no record of my calls or messages remain. We remained with no hot water for the rest of our stay. The maintenance on this property leaves much to be desired, too. One side of the gate is broken, the garden hasn’t been tended for a long time, dried dog turds are in evidence around the property, a kitchen cupboard needs attention, and proper curtain rails wouldn’t go amiss. Suffice to say, we won’t return to this property, or rent from this company again.
