Room was clean and tidy. All amenities worked, plenty of storage space and large fridge was very welcome. Although room has air conditioning which should work fine when temperatures are 30°C or lower, it struggled to keep the room cool when temperatues hit 40°C. Hotel is pretty central in Alice, with easy walking distance of several shops, though the surrounding roads do get busy. Staff were friendly.

The rooms were clean and tidy the only thing I have to complain about is that I paid for the room online through Wotif and I was not aware that I had to pay a deposit of $200 which was inconvenient for me as I’m on a tight budget at the moment

Unhappy

I was very unhappy to discover on checkin that, despite requesting a downstairs room when booking, we had been allocated an upstairs room. To get a downstairs room I was required to pay an additional $77!! The clerk claimed there was no note on my booking saying I had requested a downstairs room, despite booking weeks ago. We are both in our 70’s and have mobility issues and we were travelling with quite a bit of luggage including food needing to be refrigerated.
