They didnt even apologise when they realised their mistake (or trying to scam). Towels were never changed. Over a nightclub and very noisy at night. Location is central which is a positive

Lovey hotel within walking distance of the old town, the port and rail and bus stations. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Delicious varied continental breakfast with complimentary coffee daily. We definitely will be back to the Occidental Alicante.

Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The hotel was clean and is also in a great location for exploring. The only drawbacks are that the air conditioning is not switched on in winter, when it’s 23 degrees Celsius in February this is not acceptable as my room was boiling. The front desk were very helpful and switched my room to another on the other side of the building. This room was much cooler although the street noise was loud until the early hours.
