So much to do walking by Lake Darling basketball courts , pool table and board games 😁 And great restaurant 👌. Unfortunately the water park was closed for renovations but had the indoor pool which was great for the kids 😁. First time we stayed there and it was great best bang for the buck 👍

It’s a wonderful property- or once was….needs a million dollar clean up and update…..Staff are wonderful and the restaurant and Rafters Bar are wonderful hangouts in the off season. Nice trails and location. Easy access to Alexandria and interesting check points all around.

Clean room and friendly staff. The bar and restaurant didn’t look super lively- we would have liked to stay longer to have a chance to eat there. Hotel staff didn’t let us know about breakfast options, pool options, etc. our room had a balcony, nice view of the lake! In all, would stay again!

Beautiful lake view! Watched loons flying by from the balcony. Carlos Lake state park with 14 miles of trails is just a 15 minute drive. Room and bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly.

Arrowwood is always a clean, comfortable place to stay, and close to a number of things to do. Minor issues were the whirlpool was not working well, and the poolside bar was out of a number of items, as was the chophouse restaurant. Seems someone dropped the ball with supply ordering and maintenance

Property at one time was magnificent. It does need a little bit of a facelift as it is from the 1940s. The suite that we were in with two queen with large and clean and comfy beds. The pool was dirty, and Jacuzzi the gym had no fan and was super hot The waterpark is shut down right now, but looking forward to it opening and coming back to check it out All the staff are super nice

This used to be a beautiful resort. It so rundown and creepy now it's sad to see. I would not recommend staying here. Within an hour of being there I turned in my keys and stayed somewhere else. Based off of other reviews it sounds like I'm out the money for the rest of the nights I had reserved even though they have a 24 hour cancellation policy.
