The front desk person gave our handicap accessible room to an obese woman who could walk. My husband is a paraplegic veteran and I booked this room for 4 nights over a month out. I booked this specific room because it had a roll in shower. The management was extremely rude. This is why we usually don’t book at La Quinta anymore.

My husband is a paraplegic veteran and I had booked a handicap accessible room with a roll in shower for 4 nights. When we checked in at 3 pm they had given our room to another woman. They put us in a standard room that didn’t have an accessible bathroom. The room was small. The other woman was able to walk. We argued about it but management didn’t care.

1. One bar of soap at the sink, shampoo only in the tub area. 2nd day no one had made the bed, emptied the trash, replenished 1 pkg of real coffee or replenished any towels. 2. The key card didn’t work, the second set didn’t work and the manager had to come with the master card. 3. I had to pay an additional $100 deposit which the manager told me wouldn’t go through my account and would be retracted after I checked out. It was sent on through and I am watching my account to see when it is returned. I have never stayed anyplace where so much went wrong! I will never stay at La Quinta again!

I don't remember seeing anything in the booking information that my son would be charged a 100.00 security deposit. When he got to his room the security lock was broken. He called reception and too a photograph. He said the room was fine, the continental breakfast skimpy. He felt there wasn't a 'we care about our customers' attitude.
